Power, ready before you arrive.

AKULEO is a Central European network of battery-based EV charging stations. With integrated battery storage, we charge every electric car at consistently high power – quickly, conveniently and at a fair price.

How it works

The grid charges the battery. The battery charges your car.

The battery storage draws energy from the grid continuously and keeps it for the moment you need it. When you plug in, energy flows straight from the battery at high power.

CONTINUOUS HIGH POWER Grid and solar power Station battery 240–500 kWh Your car 120–250 kW, DC
  1. Step 1

    The integrated battery charges

The station is permanently connected to the grid or a solar installation and keeps its own 240 to 500 kWh battery topped up.

  2. Step 2

    Energy is stored

The battery is always ready to deliver the highest possible power, whatever the current load on the grid. A four-level indicator shows its charge.

  3. Step 3

    You charge at high power

Your car charges straight from the battery through a DC charger, at the highest available power of 120–250 kW depending on the station type. That means a much shorter charging time.

  4. Step 4

    Simple to use

No sign-up, no app. Pay with an ordinary payment card (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and more). Get your receipt from a QR code or have it sent to your e-mail.

For a cleaner world

Energy from nature.

Our charging network uses green energy sources as far as possible and stores that energy in its battery chargers, so you can drive in a way that is clean, economical and responsible. Just as modern times demand.

We use energy available:

  • at times of low grid load
  • from solar installations
  • from waste recycling

Every charge at AKULEO brings modern e-mobility a step closer to renewable energy. Because a cleaner future isn't built on one big decision, but on many everyday steps.

Green energy for every kilometre ahead.

Why AKULEO

Strong. Straightforward. Dependable.

  • Maximum power

Energy is ready in the battery, so power doesn't depend on the grid.

  • Less time

Maximum power from the first minute. A typical session with us takes 15–20 minutes.

  • Fair price

One price per kWh, known in advance. No subscription, no sign-up.

  • Pay by card

Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay. No app, no sign-up.

  • Wherever needed

We can install a station anywhere – even where the grid connection is too weak for a conventional fast charger.

  • Always on

Thanks to the battery, stations keep charging through short grid outages. They are available 24/7 and monitored by our control centre.

Network

Building a network across Central and Eastern Europe.

The first AKULEO stations are gradually opening in Slovakia, Czechia, Poland, Hungary and Croatia. You'll find them where you'd stop anyway – at hotels, restaurants, shops, offices and car parks.

FAQ

What drivers ask

Does my car charge from the grid or from the battery?

From the battery. The station is connected to the grid around the clock and keeps topping up, but your car always charges from the energy stored in the station's battery.

How long does charging take?

Drivers typically spend 15–20 minutes at an AKULEO station. The exact time depends on the vehicle, its battery level and temperature.

Can I pay by card?

Yes. Pay with an ordinary payment card or your phone (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay). No app or subscription needed.

Are stations available 24/7?

Yes. They even keep charging during short or local grid outages, for example after a storm or during grid works.
